The Louisville bluegrass association, Bluegrass Anonymous, in conjunction with The Holiday Inn on Hurstbourne Lane in Louisville, KY, is hosting the 2nd Annual Holiday Pick-Inn on Saturday, November 26, 2011.
 
The Pick-Inn is a concert and open jam to benefit The Home of the Innocents, The Center for Women and Families, and the Salvation Army with the admission fee being a new toy(s) or cash donation.  Last year's inaugural event collected two truckloads of toys and $2,000 that was divided among the organizations.  There are also raffle/door prizes and vendors on site.
 
Doors will open to jammin’ at 3:00pm and band performances will begin at 5:30 pm.  Artists committing their time to the concert this year are 10 year old mandolin player Kyle Ramey, Louisville’s own Storefront Congregation, Newtown from Lexington, KY and 9-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Mike Cleveland, who will gather a stellar band of his friends to perform.
 
The Holiday Inn will be offering single or double occupancy rooms for overnight guests at $69.00/night and will allow jammin' in the lobby all night until the last picker leaves.  Hotel contact information is 502-426-2600 and the room code is SGY.
